Defiantly worth a stop in his gallery to get some of those memories of Kaua'i to take home with you or send to friends.
As a photographer, Lee is decent. As a business person, not so much. I walked into his shop and proceeded to get to know him a little bit. He made it very clear to me that he was only interested in his photography and not anything I had to share. I walked out. I would never purchase anything from him. Photography is an art. I learn not only from my own endeavors, but from what others have created. I appreciate the work of other photographers - Lee, not so much, at least from what I have seen.
I am a professional in a related business and was interested is his work, but was horrified, totally shocked, and repulsed by his attitude.
Just didn't make sense ........ be prepared!
We stopped in Lee's gallery while on a trip... He was very welcoming, personable and really passionate about his work. His photography is excellent! There are other photographers on the island that have a good eye, but we find that Lee has a great talent in capturing what is really appealing to us. He does a fantastic job of capturing the true essence of what he is shooting.
If you do not visit Lee's gallery when you are in Kauai you are missing out! PURE Talent.

I agree with the other reviewers who found him arrogant. His attitude is a total turnoff!
I stopped into the studio this evening and while looking around asked him a little about the town of Hanapepe as I had never been there before and found it interesting. He replied that he had to make himself available to paying customers. Funny thing was there was no one else in the studio at the time.
My husband, Joel, and I stopped by Lee's gallery because my husband loves photography and was a huge fan of Lee's style. Since Joel and I love to hike, we were fascinated with Lee's ability to capture some of the sites we saw, including the Na Pali coast. No picture we have take captures the beauty, but Lee's talent did not disappoint. We are not only excited to receive out metal print but after hiking the Hanapakiai Falls today, I returned to our hotel and looked to see if Lee had photography of the Falls. He did and I will be ordering that one as well.
